Re-gened

You are such a uniquely special individual that there's not a person on this entire planet that shares your genetics. Your genes define who YOU are. However, your genes also define who your family is. It's why the Bible uses that term generations to describe a family tree. (These are the generations of Noah...)

Your genes are special! In fact, in most monarchies that have ever existed, the royalty is or was only accepted by the individual's bloodline. If you don't have "royal" genetics, you don't have a chance at the throne, period.

Heaven is no different, actually. When Jesus said, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God," He was affirming that you must be of Royal heritage to ever be in God's Kingdom, Heaven. So how is one born into this family? Simply speaking, you must be re-gened. The sons of Adam are in desperate need of new genetics. So God Himself regenerates us!

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. Titus 3:5

So the moment you were saved by grace through faith, God re-gened you into His "chosen generation." (1 Peter 2:9) If that's true, we should each be living according to that heritage. You are chosen, which means you have purpose. We live on behalf of God. So the proper practice would be to immediately stop living unto those things that aren't becoming of the Royal family and begin living unto God in all things. After all, it's written in your spiritual DNA.
